Saratoga Springs Overnight Trip

The weather is finally warming up so Sidonie (my girlfriend) and I decided to take an overnight trip to Saratoga Springs, New York. It was our first time traveling to the small city.

Saratoga Springs is roughly 3.5 hours North of New York City. The city is home to many thriving restaurants, bars, locals stores, and the Saratoga Race Course.

  1. Brentwood Hotel - Stay - 15 Gridley Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866

  2. Uncommon Grounds - Coffee - 402 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866

  3. Kru Coffee - Coffee 46 Marion Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866

  4. Druthers Brewery - Eat/Drink - 381 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866

  5. Hamlet & Ghost - Eat/Drink - 24 Caroline St, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866

  6. Mercantile - Eat - 30 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866

New Orleans is a historic city filled with energetic entertainment, live music, and great food. We (Sidonie and I) received several recommendations from locals via Instagram of their must-visit locations. We (Sidonie and I) jam-packed our four days in Nola and visited as many of those places as possible. Check out our recommendations above.

I’ve attached a Google Map Link to use as a guide for distance and to help plan your trip.

Venice Beach Skatepark - Kodak T-MAX 400

Venice Beach was one of my favorite spots to hangout in Los Angeles. It's known for its mix of funky shops, colorful murals, and live acts. I had a limited amount of time to explore but here are a few shots I took at the Venice Beach Skatepark.

All photos were taken with a Canon AE1 Program with Kodak T-Max 400 Black and White Film

California Trip on Polaroid

I recently just got back from California (San Diego + Los Angeles), I dropped off film to get developed and until then I'm sharing Polaroids I've taken with my new Onestep 2.

Shooting polaroids is a learning process. I've loaded packs of film incorrectly, I've used the flash when it wasn't needed and, sometimes I forgot to adjust brightness and the photo comes out too dark. But hey - practice makes perfect.

If you have any questions about the camera, the film or would like to see tips on shooting in general - write in the comments below!

All of the shot below were taken with Polaroid Original 600 film
