Summer (so far) on Polaroid Film

Summer is here.

Ah, yes the sun is out, and it is once again that time of year to pack your bathing suit, sunscreen, and head to the beach.

If you have any questions about the camera, the film or would like to see tips on shooting in general - write in the comments below!

All of the shots above were taken with Polaroid Original 600 film with Rose Gold Borders

NYC Street Photography - Fujifilm C200
Street photography, also sometimes called candid photography, is photography conducted for art or enquiry that features unmediated chance encounters and random incidents within public places.

A few weeks ago, my friend Chris and I walked around NYC while I tested a $10 thrifted camera. Here are my shots from that day.

All photos were taken with a Canon AF35 with Fujifilm C200 Color film

Venice Beach Skatepark - Kodak T-MAX 400

Venice Beach was one of my favorite spots to hangout in Los Angeles. It's known for its mix of funky shops, colorful murals, and live acts. I had a limited amount of time to explore but here are a few shots I took at the Venice Beach Skatepark.

All photos were taken with a Canon AE1 Program with Kodak T-Max 400 Black and White Film

California Trip on Polaroid

I recently just got back from California (San Diego + Los Angeles), I dropped off film to get developed and until then I'm sharing Polaroids I've taken with my new Onestep 2.

Shooting polaroids is a learning process. I've loaded packs of film incorrectly, I've used the flash when it wasn't needed and, sometimes I forgot to adjust brightness and the photo comes out too dark. But hey - practice makes perfect.

Urban Treehouse in Harrison, New Jersey

Coffee?
Modern Design?
A two-floor tree house?

New York craft coffee roaster Copperaco has teamed up with Urby to bring you a modern two-floor treehouse espresso bar in Harrison, New Jersey that should be on your list to go-see. The interior was designed by Concrete - an Amsterdam-based architecture and interior firm.

The interior features lush greenery, colorful tiles, wood structuring, airy skylights, a fireplace, lavish seating and marble countertops.

Sidonie (my girlfriend) and I spent a few hours at the location to admire the interior and enjoy a perfectly poured cappuccino.
